Chocolate Covered Raspberry Overnight Oats Ingredients
- Organic Gluten-Free Rolled Oats: Rolled oats, also known as old fashioned oats, are the best kind of oats to use for overnight oats, because they absorb the liquid the best. However, if you only have quick oats on hand, you can use them too!
- Organic Cacao Powder: To make the oats chocolatey! To be clear, cacao powder is different from regular dutch cocoa powder. Cacao powder is pure, raw cacao versus processed. Plus, cacao is rich in magnesium.
- Organic Fresh Raspberries: For flavor and texture. Plus, they’re loaded with antioxidants and several vitamins.
- Organic Pure Maple Syrup: Just a little to sweeten the oats. You can also sub the maple syrup for coconut sugar.
- Organic Unsweetened Non-Dairy Milk: Any non-dairy milk will work to mix the oats up.
- Organic Non-Dairy Yogurt: Non-dairy yogurt is not necessary, but it makes it this overnight oats recipe super thick and creamy. I used coconut yogurt, but any non-yogurt will do.
- Organic Chia Seeds: Chia seeds are a good source of protein and help with absorbing the liquid.
- Organic Ground Flax Seeds: Loaded with nutrients, high in omega-3 fats, rich in dietary fiber, and you can’t even taste them. They are completely optional, so no problem if you don’t have them…yet!
