- Organic Parmesan Cheese: We’ll be using homemade almond parmesan in place of traditional parmesan to sprinkle over the pasta.
- Organic Seasonings: We’re keeping it simple here, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, sea salt, & black pepper!
- Organic Lemon: Freshly squeezed into the sauce to add some zesty flavors.
- Organic Fresh Basil: For topping & for blending. Please don’t use dried!
- Organic Pasta: I love using pasta that is made with 3 ingredients – organic chickpea flour, organic yellow lentil flour, organic red lentil flour! Plus, this spaghetti is packed with protein! My favorite brand is Chickapea.
How To Make
- Pasta. Cook the noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Blend. Add the sauce ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth & creamy.
- Combine. Pour the green sauce into a pot, along with the cooked pasta, and toss to combine. If needed, add in a little filtered water to loosen the sauce.
- Almond Parmesan. To a food processor, add all the parmesan ingredients. Process until completely broken up and a fine powder forms, about 30 seconds.
- Serve. Divide between bowls. Garnish with a sprinkle of the almond parmesan and fresh basil, if desired. Enjoy!
