This Vegan Cauliflower Fried Rice recipe is a delicious, yet nutritious take on the typical Chinese dish. It’s packed with veggies, loaded with flavor, and perfect for meal prep. Best of all, this healthy vegan fried rice recipe is on the table in less than 20 minutes!

I honestly think fried rice is one of those dishes that everyone loves. It’s so simple, yet the combination is addictive. Now, I’m not here to shame, but a lot of the fried rice’s out there, I’m talking on the streets and on the web, are loaded with not so(y) good for you ingredients. From the toxic oils to the unhealthy amount of soy sauce. I could go on, but I’ll save you from my rant.
Back to what you came here for, the best vegan fried rice that’s healthy. Unlike the traditional, this vegan version uses cauliflower rice instead of the typical rice, coconut aminos as opposed to soy sauce, and there are no eggs or “tofu scramble.” Not on my watch. While I am changing up what some may question are the three most important ingredients, I can promise you that the taste is the same, if not better, if I do say so myself.
Not only is this Vegan Cauliflower Fried Rice recipe a healthier option, but it’s easy + quick to make. I’m talking for about 20 minutes and dinner is served. So grab your wok (skillet) and chopsticks (spoon) and lets get cookin.

Ingredients
- Organic Yellow Onion: Truly a staple to any dish. You can use whatever you’ve got though!

- Organic Garlic: Make sure to use fresh garlic and not garlic powder. This ingredient is crucial to build flavor.
- Organic Cauliflower Rice: We’ll be using cauliflower rice instead of regular rice. Cauliflower rice isn’t technically rice, but it looks like rice. You can find organic pre-made cauliflower rice at your local health foods store.
- Organic Peas: Either fresh or frozen both work!
- Organic Green Onions: Be sure to save some for topping too!
- Organic Coconut Aminos: Instead of using traditional soy sauce or tamari, we’ll be using coconut aminos, which is a healthier alternative.
How To Make
- Sauté. Heat oil in a large skillet, add the onion, carrots, and garlic, sauté for 5 minutes.
- Cook. Add the cauliflower rice, peas, and green onions, coconut aminos, sea salt, and black pepper. Cook over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, without stirring. The longer it sits, the more flavorful it gets.
- Serve. Divide between bowls. Garnish with additional green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Enjoy!
