If you’re a healthy girly, but are on a tight budget right now, you don’t want to miss this post! This guide includes 3 easy tips to make healthy eating possible on a budget!

I know that eating healthy and purchasing organic foods can sometimes be expensive, but over time I have learned some money saving strategies, that I hope will benefit you.
Tips to Eating Healthy
1. Plan Your Meals
I know it sounds kind of obvious, but plan your meals for one week or more in advance. This ensures that you don’t over buy when you go to the store. Also, it sets you up for a week of success when you plan + purchase healthy meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for the whole week.
2. Shop at Local Farmers Market
Visiting your local farmers market not only supports people doing the right thing in your community, but it also allows you to meet the people who are growing your food. What is more, is that the fresh produce at your local farmers markets actually taste a lot better! Just be sure you ask if they’re using best practices (no pesticides or chemicals being sprayed on the produce).
3. Buy Frozen Foods
Believe it or not, organic frozen fruits and organic vegetables can be just be as nutritious, as the freezing process doesn’t destroy the nutrients. Especially when certain fruits and vegetables are not in peak season, it’s best to go for the frozen version.
